Monica and Luke’s love story began as many modern love stories go these days, they met on an app. Bumble to be exact.
Monica was dipping her toe back in the dating arena after a long relationship had ended. Was this type of dating for her? She didn’t know, but after some encouragement from her bestie Eugene she made a profile and off she went!
But this whole ‘women make the first move’ on Bumble wasn’t for her, so she logged off the app and forgot all about it!
Now over at Luke’s home, he had been sent home early from a night shift at 2am and was unable to sleep so he went on the app.
Swiping left, left, left. Then he stops.
WHO IS THIS GODDESS??!! He felt like he had died and gone to heaven. No standard swipe right would suffice in getting this angel’s attention. He would have to super like her.
So with super wipe powers, he swiped right much enthusiasm. And he waited. And waited some more. Nothing. Hmm. What’s a guy to do?

He did what any keen young man with some confidence and bravado would do.
He politely slid into her DM’s as a last ditch effort to swoon her. He introduced himself and asked her to dinner. If she wasn’t interested, he would respectfully leave her alone.
She agreed to dinner. And the say the rest is history!
The moral of this love story beginning my new friends is be brave. Imagine if Luke wasn’t brave and took the chance to message her? Imagine if Monica wasn’t brave and took a leap of faith and responded to Luke. Being brave, leads to endless possibilities, and if you’re lucky. It could even lead to LOVE.
Infront of their beautiful friends and family they became husband and wife at the one and only Merribee.
It was a complete love fest and I’m still smiling from ear to ear from the day. Thank you for having me Monica and Luke. Love your faces x
Sarah is truly is one of a kind…. the love, passion, and authenticity she has for what she does honestly radiates from her. If she’s not smiling with you, she’s laughing and crying with you. Our wedding day truly would not have been the same without her. Sarah takes the time to really genuinely get to know the couples she’s working with…the nitty gritty details, she doesn’t just scratch the surface. Everything was so personalised and so ‘us’. She had our guests constantly laughing, and I had several people comment on how fantastic she was. I can’t wait for my friends to get married because I know she will be officiating their weddings too! She’s such a special person, and having Sarah be a part of your special day will be one of the best decisions you make. You’ll love her as much as we do!!
